Track & Wall Sawing in Exeter
The town of Exeter is a regional road and rail hub. It is also between the rest of England and the nation’s most visited holiday destination of the south west coast. So, traffic congestion is something the town has always battled with, particularly at the start of the summer holidays. In 1930, the A377 was opened and diverted traffic over the Ex Bridges, away from the centre of town. Today, the M5 and the A30 bypass the town altogether. Exeter is also a hub for rail services. The Exeter St David’s station is linked to Bristol and London’s Paddington Station while Exeter Central serves as a central point for local lines.
Keeping road and rail services running smoothly takes an immense amount of foresight and planning. The authorities need to schedule preventative maintenance to avoid closing highways and railway lines for emergency work. Even when upgrades and maintenance are planned and properly scheduled, they lead to congestion and delay. A major weapon in any authority’s arsenal is a list of highly reliable service providers who can be trusted to deliver time and time again. 24-7 Diamond Drilling & Sawing Services is one such company.
We supply operators and equipment for heavy duty operations like Track Sawing which is often needed when public facilities are being built or upgraded. With 35 years of experience behind us we appreciate what authorities are up against when work must be done on roads which must stay open while they maintain or expand them. The nature of our work means our operators are always working in hazardous situations. Because of this, we are fully CHAS accredited and have an in-house Health & Safety manager.
