Concrete Sawing in Exeter
A little inland, Exeter is a cathedral city and the home of the United Kingdom’s Met Office, the University of Exeter and one of the oldest artificial waterways, in the United Kingdom, the Exeter Canal. The city is well connected to the rest of the country. It serves as railway hub for south east and has an international airport.
Over the past few years there have been several redevelopment projects aimed at rejuvenating some of the older precincts of the city.
24-7 Diamond Drilling and Sawing Services covers renovation and new construction projects. Our Concrete Sawing equipment is in demand for the revival of old structures and for projects like cutting expansion gaps into new road and building surfaces.
Depending on the location and nature of the project at hand, we offer Dustless sawing. We also have machines specifically designed for use in sensitive environments which have minimal vibration, dust free, water-flushed facilities.
Concrete sawing is particularly useful in demolition projects. It facilitates the rapid removal of large areas of concrete slab from buildings and asphalt materials from road surfaces.
Exeter Concrete Sawing Case Study
Brief: 24-7 Diamond Drilling were contracted to carry out a diamond concrete sawing works on the removal of a concrete.
Solution: Concrete sawing equipment was used to section the road surface into slabs which were then loaded onto trucks. This was far quicker than drilling holes to shatter the road surface into small chunks. These are far more time consuming to collect and load.
Diamond concrete saws also enabled cutting to a precise depth which in turn meant that subterranean water, gas and electricity mains were kept out of harm’s way.
Client was very happy with the precision work done and the time saving that resulted.
