Brokk Robotic Demolition & Concrete Bursting in Torbay, Devon
The borough of Torbay is a popular tourist and holiday destination and like all holiday spots, the locals have to cope with the annual surge in population numbers every time summer comes around. Although it’s good for the economy, it does pose problems for the building and construction industry. Developers and renovators have to try and complete as much as they can during the off season.
Demolition is a vital element of the construction industry. It precedes virtually every construction project and the demolition crews have to be off site before construction can properly get going.
24-7 Diamond Drilling & Sawing Services has 25 years of demolition experience. We know there can be no messing about because we have to be clear of the site as quickly as possible. Reliable, highly productive gear plays a large part in our ability to run ahead of schedule and for this we use Brokk robotic demolition equipment.
Brokk equipment is small, agile and versatile. It is all driven electronically, so there is very little operational noise and no exhaust fumes. Working in confined spaces with Brokk equipment is a pleasure.
For demolition of large scale structures such as dam walls, weirs, pylon supports and foundations of multi-storey buildings, we use concrete bursting equipment. With this gear we are able to tackle structures up to five metres thick. With very little noise and no dust, we reduce them to manageable blocks which can be loaded and removed.
